FUNNIES: Paintings and Drawings by Alan Crockett
Apr 6–Jun 2, 2013This exhibition presents large, explosive canvases, full of color and discovery. Professor Crockett’s paintings record deliberate acts; they are tracings of what has been made, unmade, and remade, and present a topography that hovers between the threshold of meaning and the destruction of meaning. This is the artist’s act of discovery through paint.
