Practice Editing

Below are some photos that I've taken with my digital camera. Click on an image below to open a larger view. Some of these images could use some editing, feel free take a shot at it! If you find one that you would like to work on, just follow the steps below.

Right Click on the image that you would like to save. From the pop-up menu there are three different ways to do this.

  1. Select "Save Target As..." This will open a dialog box for you to choose a location (your folder). Click Save then go to your folder to open the file. This will only work on hyperlinks like the images below.
  2. You can select "Save Picture As..." to save the image that you are clicking on. This too will open a dialog box for you to choose a location (your folder). Click Save then go to your folder to open the file. If you do this on an image below you will not save the larger version of the image.
  3. The easiest way is to select "Copy" from the pop-up menu. You won't see anything happen, but if you open PaintShop Pro and "Right Click" on the gray background and select "Paste As New Image". You will still have to save this image to your folder to save your work. If you do this on an image below you will not save the larger version of the image.

This is one of the first digital pictures I ever took with an Apple 640x480. Not too bad considering that it was overcast and subjects were moving. Digital cameras have really come a long way since then!
This digital camera had higher resolution (1 megapixel) but not better image quality. The dog is so cute that it compensated and a little editing helped too.
All of the following pictures were taken with 2.0 megapixel or higher digital cameras.
